Turns everything into a spicy delight whop some into chicken pot noodle unbelievable

  2. Brian

    King naga on everything.
    Spicy and very tasty.
    Love it.

  3. Jack

Genuinely one of the nicest sauces I’ve ever tried. Massively spivey, but adds such a good flavour to anything. Add a couple of teaspoons to a stir fry mmmm

  4. Dave Thurlow

Simply beautiful and hot. This has became the staple of our office hot sauce collection. Turns an average curry/chilli into something special. Produces the heat, but manages to keep a great flavour unlike other hot products on the market.
I would actually wear a King Naga T-shirt, I love it so much!

  5. Jade (verified owner)

Been making BIR style curries for years but even with 1 tbsp of extra hot chilli powder was not hot enough for us – enter King Naga paste! Not only does it add heat but a lovely flavour to curries which really transforms it and lifts it to another level – just bought 3 more jars 🙂

  6. stewrg

That’s some damn fine naga right there.
    Works in many foods.

  7. Ian Piper

This is the best chilli pickle I have ever tasted. I’ve only been able to buy it in Keswick on my visits to the Lake District, so good to know that I can buy it online.

  8. lee baxter

I can take a very hot curry, but this is off the scale. People in other reviews using 2 teaspoons, not with mine they wouldnt. this is weapons grade. i am using around 1/4 of a teaspoon per curry. still causes sweats. love it though.

  9. Justin

    Utterly delicious!

  10. Jim

It’s amazing on cheese and crackers! I’ve finally gotten to the end of the jar after 2 years. You certainly don’t need very much on a cracker but it gives a great depth of flavour while still nicely burning your mouth off!

  11. Stewart (verified owner)

This stuff is amazing. We use it in all sorts, and it’s fantastic mixed with sour cream as a dip for fajitas and nachos.

  12. Adrian

It is exactly what is says on the jar. Phenomonal blend of both flavour and spice, added a quarter of a tea spoon to some chicken and rice and suddenly 2 ingredients became the best dish I’ve ever eaten!

  13. Jonny Bell

Lucky enough to have passed by Mr Vikki’s stall in Keswick, where I was invited to try some King Naga on a cracker- it must be the best chilli pickle I have ever tasted. Full naga with absolute flavour! Am I allowed to suggest King Naga t-shirts?

  14. Kev (verified owner)

After many years of trying everything chilli related on the market, i can honestly say this is my favourite of all time ever of all time!!!! Perfect blend of taste and heat…absolutely love this pickle….it’s perfect on the side of your plate for dipping a good quality sausage into….awesome with steak…and amazing in a (healthy!) cheese salad sandwich….i use about a teaspoon of pickle, mixed with a couple of teaspoons of mayo to make the best chilli mayo ever….thank you Mr Vikki….LOVE YOU xxxx *also happy to eat it out the jar with a spoon :0P

  15. Mark Drury

Just added this to my usual Curry…wow…2 teaspoons, an intense heat but still full of flavour…. amazing

  16. Tim (verified owner)

Its brilliant but not as good as the HHH in my view. I find it just a little difficult to control the heat and the nagas really bite you in the bum – quite literally in this case.

I have used as an ingredient in an achari dish and I think it shines when used as such.

  17. laytom01 (verified owner)

Serious, serious heat, but such a fantastic rich flavour. A teaspoon of this will liven up any boring meal. Recommended for serious chilli fans that appreciate flavour just as much as the burn.

  18. mrvikkis.co.uk (verified owner)

It’s so so good, and so so hot, but it’s just not quite got the exquisite flavours of Emperor Naga which has become my go-to staple. But I still buy this as backup when I want a change from the Emperor!

Like other reviewers, I found Mr Vikkis -and King Naga -at Keswick Market. This pickle has the most amazing depth of flavour, as well as a real kick! Just as good whether as a condiment or cooking ingredient.

  20. Tony

Tried this at the Seaham Food festival and it was a no brainer. Bought it straight away and we’ve had a couple of mini cheese boards already. Next we are going to try adding to curry

    So very tasty

  21. Dan

Given this as a gift and I love it. Probably the best tasting of any chilli/hot sauce product I’ve ever had. It isn’t too hot either… I’m usually cautious with new chilli/hot sauce products that say they are hot just in case, but I ended up putting quite a few teaspoons of this on my sandwich and it was immense. Only downside is the day after if you catch my drift… haha
Love it and will definitely be buying more.

  22. Jamie (verified owner)

I liked this. It has more of an “earthy” taste to it then the Sambal naga which I think is from the mustard seeds. I would say it’s more of an acquired taste and for me I feel it works better mixed in with a meal then just on a cracker for example.

Still a very nice taste and I would say a medium heat from the Naga chilli’s which is not a bad thing for the style of it.

    I would definitely recommend it.

  23. Colin Christopher

Load of whimps out there! i put two teaspoons in a curry for one just for me :-0 yeah its hot but by gum its tasty ! Best curry flavour ive ever tried !

  24. Ruth clough (verified owner)

God this is good! I make hummus and make it chilli far better than bought …great in a stir fry, I’m not as brave as the reviewer who puts 2 teaspoons in i can manage half to one

  25. Martin

Absolutely delicious, packed full of flavour and very hot, but the taste is lovely, fragrant and tangy! Awesome stuff!

  26. Robert Symons

Simply awesome! Perfect with a curry, pretty excellent with cheese as well! Another fantastic product.

    • mrvikkis

Thank you for the comment Robert

  27. Rory (verified owner)

This a lovely. Hot, but not stupidly so, with a good length and depth of flavour. Wonderful with cheese and sourdough. I’m delighted to have come across this company.

    Really fast service too.

    • mrvikkis

      Cheers Rory

  28. devs2500

For me, this is the best hot chilli pickle sauce by far. I love heat and this provides a great hit but is backed by absolutely superb flavour. Have this stuff on everything. Top tip! The oil drizzled on top of daal is the food of the gods!

    • mrvikkis

      Cheers Devs much appreciated

    “A mangeable lingering heat”
I mean, it’s delicious, but “Manageable?” my face feels like it’s on fire and I might have to try gargling burying it in a snowdrift. I am crying tears of acid

    5* – would buy again.

  30. Keith

Im a real chilli head and I use 3 teaspoons in a curry brings it above Phall level for heat, but unlike a Phall it has has a lovely flavour as well.

  31. Hiddenveg

This little jar can turn just about anything into the tastiest dish. It’s not just heat it’s a bomb of flavour. It lasts for ages and gets better with age. Amazing just slithered lightly onto a sandwich or mayo, great with anything pasta or rice, curry, chili, noodles. Probably the best thing you could add to your cupboard. Outstanding!
