I would choose this second to the Sambal Naga but not by much. And maybe just my personnel taste. It has that essence of the orient so if you like the flavour It has a certain tang which is great.
I’ll certainly be buying more! Really tasty!

Really well spiced with a superb depth of flavour, quite a bit oilier than the other naga pickles I have tried from Mr Vikkis and not quite as much of a burn as east India pickle.
Due to its oily nature I drizzled over home made pea and mint soup …. mmmmmmm gert lush.

Just raided the Christmas present stash to pep up some bog standard fishcakes and green veg with Emperor Naga. It certainly lifted dinner to new heights! And heated me up on a cold winter’s night. Incredibly flavoursome with just the right amount of oil. Next time I’m going to honour the Emporer by trying it in a home made Thai curry. I think it would be just perfect. Also think a dash of this in mayo would raise sandwiches to the next level.

OMG – I love the Emperor – especially the way it flayed my tongue for at least 5 minutes whilst I ran screaming to the fridge! It is the best hot pickle I’ve ever tried!
BTW – I can’t handle the King. That left me as a blubbering wreck and won’t be buying it again.
