1st pot was a Lamb curry made with slow cooked shanks (4 off, 10 hrs in slow cooker!) meat added to sauce in a pan, cook off for 10 mins superb!
2nd pot was a ‘Phall Shepherds Pie’, lamb mince (700g) garden peas (good handful) and topped with sweet potato mash, sprinkled with parmesan. Grill top until crunchy!!
    Totally hooked!

My most favourite ever curry sauce and I ve tried a few believe me, Authentic and spicy as hell, absolutely love this!

  3. Alex

Bought for us by a friend (thanks Jim!) Heard you like feedback Mr Vikki so here goes.. the sauce made a lovely curry that was indeed really really hot! I don’t think it was as thermometer blowing as the reaper pickle though, so maybe make it abit hotter so its on the same level as the reaper pickle? Just a thought.. also it could do to be abit sweeter and have abit more of a stocky flavour if it’s to be used as a curry sauce. That’s what me and my curry buddy think and may not be everyone’s thoughts… However, it is lovely and does what it says it’ll do on the jar.

    Thanks

    Alex

Wonderfully hot! I struggle to get an Indian meal hot enough for my taste and my son bought me a jar of this, it really hit the spot and I’m ordering many more jars so I don’t run out.

  5. Phil

I saw this when on an International market in Workington recently, and thought I should give it a try. I used it on a pork curry I made with sweet potatoes, and courgettes. I don’t usually do really hot curries, but really enjoyed this 🙂

  6. Daniel

Nice and hot, slow cooked meat and potato and added to sauce ate with naan. First thuoghts were wot an uncomplex curry, and the total superioroty it would have lashed over a donar kebab. Put the remains in with fried vegetables and rice, after being left like this for a night it’s complexity and depth of flavor revealed itself into an awsome curry.

  7. Clare Gibson

Bought this a a chilli festival and love it. So much more kick than other and laughing at hubby is an added bonus

  8. Shaun

Bought a jar a chilli fest.give it a go.it was lush .used couple onions chopped. Chicken breast. Choped Potatoes.handfull of peas .what a curry loved it .well done good job perfect if you like it hot .best sauce ever had.

  9. Matthew Smith (verified owner)

The sauce is so tasteful and hot! It’s great knowing I can get my chili fix at home. I’ve ordered this twice now and will continue to do so.

So far I’ve made lamb and chicken curries with garlic Naan and pilau rice.

With the remaining sauce I marinated two chicken breasts over night to make some seriously punchy fajitas!!

Bought some of this today at Gloucester Food Show and I love it. The flavour is for me bang on and Im very fussy. I will need to buy more as Im using it for cooking and as a sauce for chips and wedges. 100% recommend.

Got a jar of this from Nantwich food festival….trust me….it’s the business!

  13. Kev Peters

Fabulous. Bought from Nantwich Food & Drink Festival, like another reviewer. Enjoyed the first portion last week, and couldn’t wait for tonight’s tea

  14. Stuart

Absolutely lovely stuff. Probably the best curry from a jar I’ve ever tasted. Restaurant quality stuff and wonderfully spicy too. Highly recommend!

  15. Sam Lumsden (verified owner)

Absolutely unreal curry sauce and my new favourite.
I marinaded chicken overnight in North Indian Curry Paste, then added the marinaded chicken to a tandoor pot with chopped onion and half a jar of the phall sauce. Cook for 50 minutes in the oven and serve with rice and naan. The best curry ive ever had at home, in fact quite possibly better than most restaurants too.

  16. phil brittain (verified owner)

A five stars for the flavour alone, its not the hottest by a long shot but its perfect blend of flavour and heat, a lovely lovely sauce defo buying again

I bought this on a whim from an Instagram advert (I think). I tend to order a phal from my local so when I saw this I thought I’d give it a go!
I usually cook from scratch (I don’t use premade sauces) but after trying this I think I’ll buy a batch to stora away for the occasional easy meal.

    Fiery and delicious!

Wow amazing, one spoonful needed to make beef Phall in slow cooker very hot Great flavour, will definitely be buying this one again…

Guys this is fire but you won’t be able to stop it is bang on best phall I’ve tryed tasty/ but fire hot 10/10

  20. Rick

I was a bit skeptical because in UK, curry in a jar is usually bad, but wow this is literally Indian restaurant quality.

For 1 person I just used about 3 tablespoons, with 2 chopped tomatoes, half an onion, and some garlic ginger paste, with about 330ml water with some king prawns and it was 10/10.

  21. Stewart (verified owner)

Used this to make a phall tastier than what I have had in restaurants. It is hot, but you can taste all the different flavours, not just chilli. Really tasty.

Last week I made a Paneer and Quron Curry using Mr Vikkis Naga Curry Sauce as a base.ingredient. Added some extra onions, garlic, tomato Arrabbiata sauce and sweet peppers and the result was a very hot, tasty and spicy curry . Just received my re order from Mr Vikkis and looking forward to experimenting further. Myself and my wife love a curry and I have to say that Mr Vikks sauces and condiments are the best I have encountered .

    • mrvikkis

      Thanks Robin much appreciated ️❤️

We absolutely love all your curry sauces and pastes, but this is my favourite. It’s totally got the wow factor. We’ve made it with beef or chicken (sadly in our part of Italy, lamb is hard to get your hands on). We always leave a bit of sauce in the pan to go in our home made baked beans for breakfast and they’re delicious as well. (No moans from us about the scarcity of Heinz beans from us!!). YUM.

    • mrvikkis

      Thank you Karen ️❤️

I marinated the chicken over night in Goan hot curry paste then added it to the Phall Curry Sauce, fantastic flavour really authentic, can’t wait to try the rest of the range.

    • mrvikkis

      Thank you Paul

  25. Dave (verified owner)

Wow, delicious sauce, packed full of flavour.
I shallow fried some chicken pieces in cornflour until crispy, then fried onions and peppers. Warmed the sauce then add everything to the sauce. Finished with some King Naga and lightly fried finger chillies. Much better than most restaurant curries. Will be stocking up on this, it’s delicious. Tried with slow cooked lamb, but didn’t taste as good. Thank you Mr Vikkis.

Best curry paste by a mile. Loved it. Tasty, hot, spicy – what’s not to like? Brilliant.

  27. Kevin Horne (verified owner)

I have been very disappointed with phall curries from takeaways recently – perhaps my tolerance has surpassed their heat level. This sauce has restored my faith that there IS a phall sauce out there that’s worthy of the name! If you love phall, this is for you!!

    • mrvikkis

      Thanks Kevin

  28. Mark Smith (verified owner)

Doesn’t make the hottest Phall I’ve ever had but the deep smoky, rich flavour is just unreal!
If making this hotter would affect the rich flavour then leave it as is!
This is the best curry I’ve made at home. I’ll be ordering a lot more of this baby!

  29. Ben C (verified owner)

Absolutely brilliant flavour. Not as hot as you might imagine (or possibly hope, if you’re a glutton for punishment like I am), but plenty hot for most.

Definitely the best curry sauce I have ever had out of a jar. 5/5 easy.

    • mrvikkis

Brilliant thanks Ben just had for my dinner yum

  30. Andrew Marsay (verified owner)

This has blown me away. Proper restaurant quality… in a jar.

I was skeptical about buying a jarred sauce, as the quality usually leaves much to be desired, but the reviews really piqued my interest. The reviews are indeed right!

This sauce is absolutely incredible. Delicious. Bravo, Mr Vikki, you really have created something special with this one.

    • mrvikkis

Brilliant thanks Andrew so Pleased you liked the Phall

  31. Matt Watkins (verified owner)

Ordered 2 jars based on the reviews. I have just made and tasted the curry. It’s absolutely lovely, hot yes but so flavourful. Have already ordered more (and a cheeky garlic pickle). Thanks very much Matt Watkins
