Tamarind Chipotle Chutney

(11 customer reviews)

This is a smokey, rich, hot, sweet and sour chutney that’s great on wraps and equally good as a marinade on meat (especially lamb and pork). Delicious with poppadoms or even use as a delicious and different BBQ Sauce.

Probably the nicest chutney I have ever had. Just disappointed I didn’t buy more of it.

    I bulk buy-it’s wonderful!

I marinaded pork chops and had them with chips and beans. Really added taste to the chops the best pork chops I have had.

Delicious stuff! and your staff at Waddesdon Manor Chilli Fest were excellent 🙂

Bought it once at the Good Food Show in Birmingham a year or so ago and I’ve bee bulk-buying it ever since. (The Naga Chilli one is great as well!)

  7. Suzi Hutton

I just LOVE this chutney, I add it to my homemade curries, for a added flavour dimension, and when I get to the end of the chutney, my finger goes in the jar so there’s little if nothing left, yum yum!

  8. Rich

A regular favourite – sweet, smokey and sharp. Very good with e.g. brie or camembert.

  9. Mark Lee-Kilgariff

Elevates a smoked bacon butty to new heights! Lip smacking stuff. Highly recommended.

  10. Tony Jeffree (verified owner)

Very tasty chutney – used it in place of tamarind in a recipe for Malaysian satay sauce – absolutely delicious!

  11. Peter Martin Hull

Phenominal Tamarind flavour and a heat level that, whilst it gets nowhere near painful, builds and lingers. A new pantry favourite!
