Secretly the best chilli pickle in the Mr Vikki’s catalogue and deserving of far more attention. The ingredients have changed from this listing with the addition of curry leaves, garlic, coriander, ginger and cardamom, which help to create a fragrant, curry flavoured pickle that achieves the perfect balance of heat and taste. Wholeheartedly recommended.

This product is superb! I have never tasted a better flavoured chilli pickle. Use it as recommended, but I love it sparingly swirled into peanut butter on toast as a fiery reminder of West African food.

A hidden and underrated classic. Fragrant and punchy and a good long heat on it. Great with tandoori meats, and pretty much anything else.

Tasty. Really big hits of ginger and cardamom. So versatile.
And a proper level of heat!

Picked this up in my last order.
Read the reviews and thought ‘mmm swirled with peanut butter- there’s an idea’
A third of a teaspoon with a teaspoon of peanut butter – in retrospect not the brightest idea.
The pickle (despite being hot) is tasty and balanced well.

Just used this to make my own chilli jam – absolutely stunning. A finely chopped and liquidised red pepper plus half a jar of the pickle, 600ml of cider vinegar, 1kilo of jam-making sugar. Boil it all up for 10 minutes and set aside to cool for 30-40 minutes, stir to distribute the “bits” through the thickening jam, and bottle. Once the bottles are cool, stick them in the fridge to get a really good set. Stunning flavour with a nice back note of appley acidity.

The unsung hero of the Mr Vikki’s range. Lifts any meal, a real depth of complex spice and those habenero’s really shine through. As a marinade on chicken wings it’s unbeatable.

I think this is the best Mr Vikkis pickle and is a fab combination of heat (but not too much) and awesome flavours.
This will liven up any chicken sandwich or cheese and onion toastie or any other mundane piece of food! I use it instead of butter on sandwiches being careful not to use too much as the heats builds as you eat. It lasts ages too which makes it a winner i my book. Absolute top product If you buy only one of their pickles make it this one
